We had the privilege to work closely with Mr Anthony Bennett and his company at Adare Manor, County Limerick, Ireland. The 2016-17 project included the construction of a new 18-hole golf course and practice area, replacing the existing facility.
This new Fazio design golf course was built to the highest standards in the golf industry, including: new USGA greens, Sub Air in ground systems for each green, 150 acres of sand capping with extensive subsurface drainage throughout, a new Toro irrigation system, new tees, capillary concrete bunkers, electrical and TV cable ducting, tournament support roads, and new maintenance paths.
This world class golf resort was designed and built to host large scale golf championships in the future. Atlantic Golf Construction resourced this large-scale project with excellent equipment, to ensure swift and efficient completion. While maintaining keen attention to detail, AGC oversaw the entire project as the general golf contractor.
The staffing at peak time included 140 on the golf course. Key personnel included 30+ track hoeoperators, 6 bulldozer shapers, 3 survey engineers, 4 drainage crews, 2 hydroseeding teams, 2 road construction crews, and 6 project managers from Europe,UK and America.
